Meet the Family Behind Doggie Rescue Ranch
Mother/Daughter Team - Marianne and Danielle
From heartbreak and uncertainty to hope and healing, countless dogs have had their lives transformed thanks to a mother and daughter determined to make a difference. Marianne and Danielle founded Doggie Rescue Ranch with a simple belief—that every dog deserves love, dignity, and a forever home. Together, they have opened their hearts and their North Florida ranch to hundreds of animals in need, creating a place where healing happens at both ends of the leash.
For Marianne and Danielle, Doggie Rescue Ranch is more than a mission—it is a reflection of their bond and shared compassion. Marianne’s lifelong love of animals and steady dedication, combined with Danielle’s energy and hands-on commitment, have made them an inseparable team in the rescue community. Side by side, they have spent countless hours caring for neglected dogs, celebrating adoptions, and giving each animal the patience and affection needed to trust again. Their partnership has touched not only the lives of the dogs they save, but also the families who welcome those dogs home.

Together, they bring heart, leadership, and an unwavering belief that healing happens at both ends of the leash.

From walking dogs and transporting animals to sponsoring medical care and opening their homes, these dedicated individuals make our mission possible. Meet Cheddar - A Legacy Dog
Cheddar came to Doggie Rescue Ranch from a heartbreaking neglect and cruelty case involving a family struggling with dementia. Severely underweight and living in unimaginable conditions, he arrived carrying not only physical scars, but emotional ones as well. Over the past year, Cheddar has become one of our beloved Legacy Dogs, spending his days healing, learning that people can be kind, and slowly rediscovering trust. His journey reminds us that healing takes time, patience, and unconditional love—and that some of the greatest victories are not measured in days, but in second chances.
Immediate Volunteers Needs
We are currently looking for volunteers to fill these key roles:
- Dog Walkers & Socializers: Help our dogs stay active and happy with daily walks and playtime.
- Event Volunteers: Support our adoption events, fundraisers, and outreach efforts.
- Foster Families: Provide temporary homes for dogs while they await adoption.
- Transportation Assistance: Help transport dogs to vet appointments or adoption events.
- Electricians & Carpenters: Assist with facility maintenance, repairs, and improvements to keep our ranch running smoothly.
- Tractor & Land Clearing Volunteers: Help with property maintenance and creating safe outdoor spaces for our dogs to enjoy.
- Pool Resurfacing Assistance: Support our efforts to refurbish our dog therapy pool for exercise and rehabilitation.
Every role plays a critical part in giving our rescue pups a safe, comfortable environment as they wait for their forever homes. If you have a special skill or want to lend a hand, we’d love to have you on board!
