Kids Day Camp at Doggie Dude Ranch: Adventure Awaits!
Get ready for a fantastic adventure for kids ages 6 to 13! Our fun-filled Camp days are set to take place on Mondays and Thursdays for three weeks: June 9, 12, 16, 19, 23, and 26, from 7:45 AM to 12:45 PM.
Imagine your child arriving at the beautiful Doggie Dude Ranch, excited to dive into a world of adventure. They'll participate in thrilling horse activities, learning to connect with these gentle giants while building confidence and responsibility, and possibly making new friends along the way!
Designed for children ages 6 to 13, our camp offers an enriching experience filled with hands-on activities, animal care, and fun in the great outdoors.
Ranchers Love To Give Our Horses A Splash Of Color
And let’s not forget the exciting hay rides! Your child will enjoy a delightful ride through the ranch, taking in the sights and sounds of nature, plus they’ll have the chance to decorate horses with paint—because what’s a horse without a splash of color?
Proposed Camp Schedule - Subject To Change
Morning Greeting & Circle Time (7:45 AM - 8:15 AM)*
• Welcome all campers and share the day’s schedule.
• Icebreaker games to encourage friendships.
*Horse Safety & Care Workshop (8:15 AM - 9:00 AM)*
• Learn about horse behavior and safety around horses.
• Hands-on experience with grooming and caring for horses.
*Arts & Crafts: Creative Projects (9:00 AM - 9:45 AM)*
• Create horse-themed art, including painting horses.
• Make dog enrichment toys for their pets at home or for dogs at the doggie rescue ranch. (Campers may be asked to bring in some supplies!)
*Snack Break (9:45 AM - 10:00 AM)*
• Time to refuel with snacks and hydrate!
*Dog Care & Training (10:00 AM - 10:45 AM)*
• Learn how to care for dogs: feeding, grooming, and exercise.
*Creative Kid Time (10:45 AM - 11:15 AM)*
• Engage in fun activities like building haybale forts and climbing challenges.
• Encourage teamwork and creativity while exploring physical activities.
*Water Fun (11:15 AM - 11:45 AM)*
• Water games and activities to cool off (bring a towel!).
• Fun challenges and team games.
*Wrap-Up & Reflection (11:45 AM - 12:15 PM)*
• Gather for a group reflection on the day’s adventures.
• Share stories and experiences.
*Departure & Parent Pick-Up (12:15 PM - 12:45 PM)*
• Ensure all campers are safely picked up.
